Sheriff, Deputy

Salary – Minimum $36,536 - $54,382 annually

    This is a sworn officer responsible for providing law enforcement services within Fulton County to prevent crimes, preserve the peace, and make arrests.  Responsibilities include securing and providing safety to County buildings, courtrooms, jail and other public areas and processing and securing inmates at the Fulton County jail.

Detention Officer

Salary – Minimum $33,058 - $50,371 annually
    Officers perform operational duties related to overseeing detained inmates, monitoring inmate visitation and securing detention facilities.  Responsibilities include supervising inmate work details, generating reports, maintaining records, and assisting Sheriff Deputies in transporting inmates to various facilities.
